Wildflower Hike

On May 18 at 2:00 pm Betsy Yankowiak will lead a hike around the property to view wildflowers in bloom.  Meet at the chapter house.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Conservation Camp!

The Fort Wayne Chapter is excited to offer another week of Conservation Camp this summer! This year’s camp will feature a nature photo contest, natural tie-dying, water testing, conservation projects, hiking, fishing, and studying tracks, scat, owls, bats, and trees with games and team building activities. Also, campers will be offered healthy snacks daily along with a campfire treat for Friday’s dinner and Saturday’s breakfast.

This is a fantastic chance to get your children or grandchildren out on our beautiful chapter grounds. We will offer camp Monday, June 23rd through Saturday June 28th, with optional overnight camping on Friday night that is open to campers’ families.

Member’s children and grandchildren get $10 off the non-member registration cost.  Also, this will be the first year that we are offering scholarships to pay up to half the registration cost per camper. Registration is open from March 1st to June 13th, but there is very limited spacing so sign up early!

Registration forms and scholarship information are available by clicking on the form name, or by contacting Camp Director Betsy Yankowiak at 260-444-3144.

Fall Happenings Hike

On October 19, Betsy Yankowiak will lead a walk around the property to see fall foliage and animal signs and activities.  Meet at the chapter house at 2:00.
